1, the connector method
The methods of conveyor belt joints include: mechanical joints, cold adhesive joints, hot vulcanized joints, and several common methods.
Mechanical joints generally refer to the use of belt buckle joints. This joint method is convenient and quick, and it is also more economical. However, the joints are inefficient and easily damaged, and have a certain impact on the service life of the conveyor belt products. In PVC and PVG whole core flame retardant antistatic conveyor belt joints, the products of the 8th class and below generally use this joint method.
Cold-bonded joints, that is, joints made with cold-stick adhesives. This joint method is more efficient than mechanical joints, and it is also more economical. It should be able to have better joint effects. However, from a practical point of view, due to the relatively difficult to grasp the process conditions, the quality of the adhesive has a great impact on the joints. So it is not very stable.
Hot vulcanized joints have proved to be the most ideal joint method. They can ensure high joint efficiency, are also very stable, and have long joint life and are easy to grasp. However, there are disadvantages such as troublesome process, high cost and long joint operation time.
2, layered conveyor belt joints
According to requirements, joint methods such as mechanical joints, cold joints, and hot vulcanized joints can be used. General cold adhesive joints, hot vulcanized joints take a ladder structure joints.
3, PVC and PVG flame retardant conveyor belt joints
Because the structure of the whole core belt is rather special and the joint is not easy, most of the mechanical joint methods are used, that is, belt buckle joints. However, in order to ensure the effect of the joints, tapes of level 8 or higher are generally used for hot vulcanization joints. The structure of the joint is a finger joint. The thermal vulcanization joint process of PVC and PVG integrated core fire-retardant conveyor belt is more complicated and the equipment requirements are relatively high.
4, steel cord conveyor belt joints
